Cancellation Policy

Tuition – Payments are made on a monthly basis. Tuition fees are due on the first business day of every month, and are the same whether or not there are 3/4/5 lessons in any given month. We do not pro-rate tuition or provide refunds for classes missed. We will, however, allow the student to attend a makeup lesson in a like class. If payment is not received by the 7th of each month, a $10 late fee will be applied to the account. Fees due from any checks that are returned for insufficient funds will be the responsibility of the Student or Student's parent/guardian. Payment – Dance University takes payment via debit/credit card or check. Paying by check allows for a waiving of our 3% Admin Fee. Checks may be payable to Dance University. A $25 fee will be assessed for all return checks. Receipts are available from the receptionist. To avoid potential late fees, it is required that you set up an automatic payment. Autopay- By registering for classes, you authorize 941 Talent at Dance University to charge your provided credit card or bank account for all fees due, including tuition, registration fees, and any additional charges (e.g., recital fees, costume fees, etc.). If a recurring payment schedule is set up, the payment will automatically be processed on the due date for each billing period. We understand that situations may arise where a dancer is unable to continue with classes. In these cases, while we cannot issue a refund, we are happy to apply a credit to your family’s studio account for any unused tuition. This credit may be applied toward future tuition payments, classes, or other studio expenses. Credits are non-transferable and must be used within the 3 months of cancellation, while Student is enrolled in class with 941 Talent.
